Safety of foreign diplomats of utmost importance, UK minister says, after India takes up ‘disgraceful incident’

The UK's minister for Indo-Pacific, Anne-Marie Trevelyan, expressed concern over the incident in which Indian high commissioner Vikram Doraiswami was prevented from entering a gurdwara in Glasgow by Sikh extremists. Trevelyan emphasized the importance of ensuring the safety and security of foreign diplomats. The Indian high commission reported the incident to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office and the metropolitan police, urging action against the culprits.
